Our Dear Beloved Brittany Michele Ferrin

As you can see my last blog was wishing my most beautiful Granddaughter, Brittany a very Happy Birthday! Last night, Nov 5, 2009 Brittany succumbed to the dreaded Swine Flu (H1N1 Virus) that completely consumed her body in a little more than a day. Pneumonia was ravaging her body. She fought hard but lost the battle. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Brittany loved her Heavenly Father and yearned to be with Him. Today she walks in Paradise welcomed by so many loved ones that have gone before her. ( Nov 5Th was my Mother, Katie's Birthday. She loved to hear stories about "Nannie Katie") And I had given her many items that belonged to Katie which she treasured.. I'm not all that good with words but I love that little girl with all my heart and will miss her dearly. She spent many an hour with me sitting in the blue recliner and asking me to recall many of the early events in my life. She was genuinely interested in Katie and my Childhood and I asked her many times to remember all that I had told her so that she could tell the rest of the family. We love you so very much Brittany. It's going to be so hard to let you go but we know you are truly with your Heavenly Father and were welcomed "home" by Katie, Grandpa Barney and so many that have gone before you. I want to set up a blog for those that want to leave remarks and condolences and will be working on it..in the meantime will you leave those here for Robyn and all to cherish. Our Sweet Granddaughter Sami's 11th Birthday! We want to wish Sami a Very Happy Birthday. She's so sweet and loving to all. She's very, very special to Papa and Nannie. She had a Sleep-Over and Papa and Nannie went up that next night on her Birthday to wish her a Happy Birthday!! Isn't she just so cute??!!??

 

 

The guys went up to the old CC Camp for the annual Father's & Son's outing last night then down to Cedar Springs for a day of riding 3 wheeler's, 4 wheeler's, motorcycles & The Ranger. They had a blast and look a bit tired afterwards.

Today is Ryan's 11th Birthday! A very Happy Birthday Ryan with love, Papa and Nanners!! We love you and hope you're having a great day! You're very special to us and are always so kind and helpful to Papa and I. You're our "Sweet All 'Round" Grandson. At this Easter season of hope and renewal we testify of the glorious reality of the atonement and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The empty tomb brought comforting assurance and provided the answer to the question of Job, “If a man die, shall he live again?” (Job 14:14).

Because of the Savior’s resurrection we will overcome death and become the beneficiaries of His mercy and grace. In a world of trouble and uncertainty, His peace fills our hearts and eases our minds. Jesus is in every deed “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).

We give our sure witness that Jesus is the Christ. Though He was crucified, He rose triumphant from the tomb to our everlasting blessing and benefit. To each member of the human family He stands as our Advocate, our Savior, and our Friend.

Yea, It's Jason's Birthday. April 3. What can we say, He's our first born Grandson, we're so very proud of him and he's always been so kind and polite and the Grandson that all Grandparents would be jealous of if they knew him and had watched him grow and develop both in stature and in the Gospel as we have.. He and His new Bride know where they're going and will surely reach their goals!! We love them and wish them well..
